Regarding the new Vikings stadium, we know its going to be built now the next issue is the design of the stadium. For me i like a Outdoor stadium for good home field advantage, to show that our fans can handle watching a football game outside, and it is cheaper.

Bears, Packers, Bills play in very cold climates outdoors. i dont see why we cant. It is also a amazing atmosphere if it snows during the game.

I think they should share with the Gophers in the TCF stadium. After all, the dimensions of the field are the same.

that boat has sailed a long, long time ago, you are getting an indoor stadium, if we're lucky, it may have a big sliding patio door, maybe even a sun roof.

you want to prevent a new $1B stadium from being able to be used between November/December and March/April?

Wrong colors, low 50,805 seating capacity, and 39 suites?

Even the Metrodome has 113 suites and the suites make a lot of money.

The Dallas Cowboys stadium has 320 suites with some priced at over $500,000 per season.

nothing like football when it's snowing outside. That's what makes lambeau field great, they should do an outdoor one with real grass for turf.

The Twin Cities is not Dallas. Or NYC. It shouldn't pretend to be.

No, but the current Metrodome suites do always sell out and only 5 NFL teams have less. No NFL stadium has less than 80.

I would hope not. For $1.6B the New York football stadium leaves a lot to be desired not the least of which are $110 nose-bleed seats. Dallas meanwhile was built more to satisfy the BIG ego of Jerry Jones and something like that would just be goofy here. Thanks but no thanks.

Yeah, but 39 suites?

Come on man. This is the 15th largest Metropolitan area in the Country... and there are 31 stadiums. I know we don't have to be NYC or Dallas, but a little better than Cincy, Jacksonville, Tampa, GB, etc would be nice.
