Question Please recommend location for a dental practice

Hello everyone,

A bit off the topics usually discussed here...

Anyway, I am a dentist, looking for starting my own practice in MN. I actually never lived in MN so I need help about decision making in this matter.

I thought about the twin cities metro in general, maybe one of the newer suburbs. Maybe Rosemount? I know the town is developing quite rapidly.

I am not locked only on the metro area! other options are welcome. However, I do want to start my practice from scratch, not to purchase an existing one. That means that the location should have good initial potential and not packed with dentists.

Any opinion/recommendation is helpful.

Thanks for your time!

There are only 2 dental practices in Rosemount that I know of so it would probably be a good place to start. The one dentist has been practicing for about 20 years so he won't be around for a lot longer. I don't know anything about the other dentist. They are in the planning stages for a development in Rosemount that is predicted to double the size of the town over the next 10+ years so that is also promising for a new dentist. The town of Rosemount has been around for over 100 years but it has been growing quite a bit in the past 5 years.
