What is it like around the town of Battle Lake?We're looking at property somewhere.We're nort sure on the "somewhere" yet.What are the best and still affordable lake area towns in Minnesota to find waterfront around 5 to 10 acres in size?

My folks have a home 4 sale on E. Battle Lake lmk if interested can steer you to the listing 5bed/4 bath 3 fp's 3 car garage, huge kitchen VERY LARGE LOT 225' frontage asphalted road in. total land I believe is @ 7 acres.

Sorry Bagira.We're just looking for land at this point and not a home.You are the only one with any input about this area.Battle Lake must be a very small town. Thanks for your input.

I had to look Battle Lake up on Google, I wasn't sure where it was. Looking at the map Battle Lake is probably about 500-1000 people, maybe. It wouldn't be a bad choice for lake property with the Willmar area and Alexandria pretty much 'full' as far as lake development goes.

Its extremely FULL as far as lake property goes Otter Tail County is the BEST lakes area in the state.

Willmar who goes to Willmar....

15 min. to Fergus Falls....40 to Alex. from Battle Lake. my folks home is listed @675k neighbor sold newer home 4 years ago for 750k. Its about $2500k-3000k per foot on the nicer lakes in this area. Thats w/o a home.
