Default Early snow this year.

My brother in Duluth just said that it is snowing right now. The Minneapolis area is supposed to get some tonight also.

warmweather! is on a distinguished road
Yeah, I live in the Twin Cities and yesterday it snowed a little. It snowed a bit today too. But it was a bit too warm, so the snow didn't stay on the ground. It melted pretty fast. It even was snowing during the day, not even just at night. But this weekend we are supposed to get a scorcher of 50 degrees! In my opinion, I absolutely dispise the winter and the temperatures lower than 75. But lets hear from some other Minnesotans, do you guys like the winter?

Yes...I know I am one of the few you really like winter and the cold. I grew up in Kentucky and my dream was to always live as far north as possible. Anything above 75 and I just dont want to go outside...I like it zero or below with a wind blowing...just like that cold feeling. I love cold more than snow even. I moved to the right place as I live in the red river valley and it is colder and windier here than any other place in the country (excluding a few mountain spots out west). But as they say you either love it or hate it...rarely an in between with our cold.

Default Snow!

Snow! Lucky you!
It was a cool 87 degrees here today (Tampa, FL). Eventually it will drop down to the 50-60's at night. Although last winter I do believe I used my heat a few times when it got down to 40.
I dearly miss my fall weather, it is my favorite season, even though it doesn't often last very long up there. So tell me, how are the leaves this year?
Cathy

We had a dusting of snow that lasted about 2 hours and melted. It wasn't even enough to cover the grass. Heck, northern Michigan got 21" of snow and 30" more predicted, YIKES, that is an early snow.

We usually get some kind of flurry activity this time of year but it can also be in the 80's like it was last Saturday. Average for snow to fall and stay is mid-Nov but it can come earlier AND it can come a lot later too.

Yeah, the weather has been crazy. On Sunday it was 75 degrees then by Wednesday I had about an inch and a half of snow in my yard. Looks like it will melt tomorrow though. Hope so! Still haven't gotten around to raking the leaves yet!

Only in Minnesota can you experience 3 seasons in 4 days, lol.
