Long Cold Winter, Eh?
When Duluth was acknowledged in Outside Magazine this summer, mention was made of a film about winter in Duluth. It was made by kayaker Cliff Langley and called "Long Cold Winter, Eh?". Does anyone know where I could get a copy of this? It sounded as if it might be a fun take on winters up north.

Not sure about that one, but look up a publication entitled, "Lake Superior Magazine". They cover much of the same types of things.

reviving the question
Alright, I'm being totally selfish and obnoxious and reviving my original post about the short film "Long Cold Winter, Eh?" I haven't been able to come up with anything on internet searches but still want to find it. With all you Duluth posters out there, surely someone can give me a lead!
It sounds like a fun thing to watch and I want more to show my family - particularly regarding winters in Duluth. Once my oldest finishes high school, I'd really like to try to make the move to Duluth.

Hey roneb,
I found this on the web Fluid Groove Productions Blogs - SNAFF At the bottom of the page there is a caption that mentions the film you are looking for. I also looked at the main web page at Welcome to Fluid Groove Productions and found a little bio on both guys that made the film you mentioned.

Thanks newcastle! I'd tried their website before but couldn't find any links to the film itself. I'll have to try emailing them through the website again. That said, "the North Shore Project" looks like it has some incredible steep creek footage. I knew someone back there would help out!

Your welcome. Yeah, I thought the North Shore Project looked pretty good too. Their phot albums looked interesting as well.
