Hello,

I am about to moving from California to Minnesota precisely around Rochester to study. However, I am having issue with my car insurance company because they do not offer insurance outside of California.

Therefore, I would have to shop around and look for a cheaper one since I am a student. Here, in California you can only purchase liability insurance if you owned the vehicle which I do, and you are just fine. I have noticed that in Minnesota the policies are very different and I would like to know if they are some cheaper car insurance for college students around.

I'm using a small company and pay around $684-year. Something less or similar to advise will be great

Thank you !
