We are moving to Moorhead MN from Houston. What are the best neighborhoods to live? What schools are the best? Also we have a child in special ed. How are the special ed programs in the schools in Moorhead? Thanks

Moorhead only has one public high school and middle school, so you don't have much choice.
You'll likely get more answers about neighborhoods in the Fargo forum.

Yes....the Fargo forum where posted some is a better choice for Moorhead discussion. South side neighborhoods are where the main growth is well south of I-94. But you do have one MS and one HS but several elementary schools. Village Green area is nice and newer parts of the city are south of 34th Ave S toward 40th Ave S.

There is one private school K-12 Park Christian School which is Christian non-demonational based.

Why are you not moving to Fargo? Was born there and believe me, no difference other than lower taxes and later drinking hours than in Moorhead.
