FINALLY!!!! Buffalo Wild Wings is coming to Duluth everyone! They will be locating in 5,000 square feet of space in the old Gander Mountain site. 18,952 square feet of the space has also been leased to a large national retailer. There is a 2,054 square foot space and a 8,500 square foot space left still to be purchased.

WOOHOO! That is awesome news about Buffalo Wild Wings! Any idea when they might be starting work on the building? Would love to have it open by the Christmas shopping season. I've told a few people here at work, and they said they are going to eat there EVERY day
Any idea if that is a standard size for BWW? Have been to the one in St. Cloud. Also, any thoughts on what the other retailers might be? That's so sad about Daddio's - I loved it there, and the owners were sooooo nice and always treated me like family. |

That's great news! How do you know this? Do they have to fill all of the spaces before opening?

I know this from the buildings leasers website. Welsh Companies is leasing it. I emailed them back with your questions so when I find out I'll let you know. I have talked to the people leasing this building many times so I have known things for a while. Here is the site plan.

You are amazing! My friends at work are going insane right now!
Say, a while back I think you said you were thinking about doing some kind of franchise in Duluth. Have you ever thought about Fuddruckers? I always thought it would do well in the old Barnes & Noble / True Colors spot, but not sure how much room is there anymore? Just curious. Thanks so much for digging this up! |

Wow! That is really exciting. I knew they were looking up here, but I didn't know that they found a location. I LOVE their garlic sauce and am a huge buffalo wing lover so I will definitely be visiting there often.

I love those wings too!!! Plus their new locations are extremely nice!
There is less than 2,000 square feet left in the old B&N location due to Cash Wise taking up a large amount with their expansion. I love Fuddruckers though! ![]() |

So I emailed Chipotle about locating in the Gander Mountain site and they keep saying that Chipotle is not ready to take the JUMP to Duluth. Now this isnt like an automative answer, I talk to this person a lot. Now honestly, why wouldnt Chipotle locate in Duluth. I really dont understand, they have locations in tiny towns in the state and some places like Maple Grove and Rochester have two! Why cant we just get one? I mean we have the second largest student population in the state, plus one of the states largest amounts of tourists travel here each year. So really what is stopping Chipotle from opening in Duluth but instead opening in places like Elk River, population 19,000.
