Does anyone know if the J.C. Penny store is suppose to get a Sephora?

Since Regis, Trade Secret, MasterCuts and Pure Beauty are all the same company it doesnt surprise me that they are going to change one of the salons into a Pure Beauty. I was really surprised when they put in Trade Secret so close to Regis in the first place. Hopefully its Trade Secret that gets changed, that stores never done very well to my knowledge. I know they seem to have a hard time keeping stylists.

You guessed correct. In the next six months Trade Secret will be transformed into a new Pure Beauty store. Trade Secret actually does very well. My relative works at the headquarters and tells me that the store is doing the exact amount of business they need to. All Trade Secrets in Minnesota and eventually everywhere will be changed to Pure Beauty.

Victorias Secret is moving into their new stone on May 30th. They will be closed from May 25th-May 29th while they move into their new store.

Sbarro is turning out to look pretty nice. Does anyone know if anyother food court retailers such as Steak Escape, Subway or Coney Island have plans to remodel? Does anyone know if the food court is trying to get rid of the neon? I think it makes the mall look so dated!

I really think Sephora should go where Motherhood Maternity is. I did notice though after looking at a bunch of mall websites in the state almost all of the malls are getting Auntie Anne's stores. Do you think we will?

Crystalice do you have any new information on the food court tenant? Does anyone have any new information on the mall?

They have not found anyone yet. The rent is too high.

Has anyone thought of the Dollar store possibly being a good location for Sephora? Also what about the redevelopment, has anyone heard anything on it lately?

Sorry - I've been gone for a little bit and hadn't been able to post anything. I don't know when the redevelopment will begin. They are starting to go out for bid on a couple of projects, but I think it is more outside work getting ready for summer - like planting and fixing the pot holes and such. It still looks like the Chicken place will be going into the food court. It sounds like there are some permit issues holding them up. I also found out that Hollister is only going to have one opening. It will be facing Motherhood Maternity. I haven't heard anything on Sephora (and there is no way they would take the space where A Dollar is now). But I did hear that there will be a makeup place, it's just not Sephora.
