Default Thinking of returning to MN

I lived in MN several years ago. I am thinking of returning. Can anyone recommend any good cities/towns that have jobs available, are close to a college, and have low crime rates? The smaller the population the better. Also, since I plan on going to school, I'll be looking for something with low rent.

Try Marshall in SW MN too. Southwest Minnesota State University is there, several large employers in town, Schwan's, US Bank, SMSU, etc. Housing is pretty inexpensive, especially rent. It is a great town of about 12,000. If you want to get smaller then that there are several towns of less then 5000 in easy driving distance to Marshall too.
