I feel your pain fellow SAD-sufferers. I do not mean to dismiss good solutions like lightboxes or golfing but I think the main problem is I am very sun-oriented. Today is rainy and gloomy. I want more sun more of the time and less cold and less rain. I am actually in the process of looking for other places than Minnesota (have I said this already?); I am looking for places with lots of sun.

I will say this though. I will miss this place in its own way, I guess. But it is a big world and if I can't make it in one place there are a billion other places to make it.

I actually prefer less sun in the summer and more in the winter! In the summer the sun angle is extremely intense and harsh. In the winter it is much more welcome when the temperatures are far lower. Also, I find that winter sports are a must in order to enjoy the colder temperatures.

I wouldn't say I have sad but it is disappointing all the cloudy days we have had. When the sun is shining I am in an extemely good mood though. The problem with me is we moved back here from South Carolina which seems to be sunny most of the time,so it's a big change.
