Hi

Incredible snowfall this past weekend in northern Minnesota in about at 50 mile wide band from Fergus Falls and Fargo through Bemidji and Park Rapids to the Iron Range. Up to 2 feet in areas around Bemidji and Park Rapids to the Iron Range....with one report of 32 inches north of Virigina....

Here is a link to reports in northwest Minnesota and a satellite picture from early Monday afternoon showing the snow band...

Default Another snow event April 11th...

I didnt want to start a new thread.....but a heads up here...another heavy snow event is likely in much of far western into northern Minnesota thursday night thru Friday night with rain to wet snow transition for central Minnesota including the Twin Cities Fri into Fri night.

Likely not looking at extreme amounts like the last one....but widespread 8+ seems pretty likely attm (writing this Tues aftn) for at least areas north and west of Wilmar to Alexandria to Duluth line. Again this heavy snow area could easily change 50-100 miles.

Kuan--I was just going to suggest that but that heavy, wet stuff isn't all that great for cross country skiing.

DAN!!! The NOAA site says we are supposed to be in the 50's next week--tell me that is still true!!!

My DD is out golfing with the golf team right now, poor kids, it is pretty dang cold for them but their season is so short they have to get out, burrrrr
