more snow on the way for far west and northern MN Friday aftn-night
Hi all
A heads up...looks like quite the snowstorm Fri night for parts of west central into northcentral Minnesota....6 to over a foot in spots centered from Watertown SD to near Marshall MN then northeast through Alex-Fergus Falls-Wadena-Park Rapids-Bemidji to International Falls and Grand Rapids. Lots of wind too. Winter just won't go away this spring ! Dan

reports coming in this morning show estimated snowfall for morning of 4/26
18 inches in pelican rapids 15 inches in fergus falls (emergency shelters were opened up for motorists as all hotels were full) 15 inches in hawley 13 inches in bemidji 6-8 in fargo 18 inches in wahpeton-breckenridge 12+ warroad and baudette 10 thief river falls (still snowing) 12+ detroit lakes wow unsure of records as snowfall data is not well kept historically but has to be close to it. Alex-Drifts at our back doors-over 3 1/2 ft, visibility had been close to zero for hours, front yard 12+".
