Looking for a house (rental) in Staples or Motley... (Edina: real estate, rentals)

After looking online for rental property in the Staples/Motley area and finding nothing...I thought I'd try and post here.

My partner and I currently live out of state and are moving up to that area at the end of June, to help take care of his dad...who unfortunately, is not in the best of health. He (his dad) lives in a small trailer in Motley...so living with him is not an option.

We would like to rent a house in either Motley or Staples - as he lives in between those two towns. I know it is a shot in the dark, but does anyone here know of anything?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and kindly respected.

The Staples world is the local paper or the morrison country record. The reord is an online paper also.

You could also look up a real estate agent or the local Chamber of Commerce and see if they have any ideas. Often in smaller towns rentals are advertised by a sign in the yard or a card on the bulletin board at the grocery store so finding them online is next to impossible. Is there a family friend you could contact to see if they can look for you?

I have a rental property in Motley and have had luck renting it through the local papers only. Bill Skeesick (Rainbow Realty Staples) is one of the local realtors that I know that work with rentals. Also Edina realty may be able to help.

Everything else is in Little Falls or east of Little Falls.

Cushing is the next town south of Motley ( it might be too far away for you, though)
