Cambridge, Minnesota
I am thinking about applying for a job in Cambridge. Does anyone reading this live there and can tell me anything about the area, what it has to offer, cost of living, amenities - things to do, crime? Thanks.

Cambridge is a very nice town, low to almost no crime. They have a Super Walmart, Target, Cub, Menards, Apllebee's, Culvers, Subway, Perkins, movie theater, library, the county seat, hospital, Pizza Hut, Taco Johns, many more stores and restuarants. The homes are much cheaper, new homes are going up all over. You can get a new 3 br house for less than $200,000. The people are very friendly , its a nice place to live.

There is fishing, snowmobiling, boating, bars, bowling, it depends on what you like. The town is a good size for a small town. Its really spread out, the places I mentioned are in town, Cambridge has alot of country area. You could live in a neighborhood or on 10 acres. There is alot to do, it all depends on what you like. Cambridge is a developing town, there have been major changes in the last 5 years and more things are being proposed all the time. The casino is not to far away in Hinkley or Mille Lacs.

i've lived in cambridge almost all my life and i would say theres almost no crime. ocassionally, there is but definatley nothing to worry about here. theres a fair here every summer for about a week and a rodeo this weekend that many people go to, you can go tubing/boating/swimming at lake george or fish lake that are about 15 minutes out of cambridge. and theirs also a city park along the rum river.

Applebee's? I'm sorry, but they kinda suck.
I have a name for any "restaurant" with a larger walk-in freezer than cooler: fast food.
