Moving to Elk River - killer commute? (Minnetonka, Maple Grove: house, live in)

Finally found a house after searching for a year. I work in right off of 494 in Minnetonka. Is the 8-5 commute going to kill me?

Krink63, I live in Elk River and work in Maple Grove. My work day varies so I hit a fair number of different departure times. If you have to be at work by 8, leave just before 7. The commute does get a bit bogged down at times around 715 to 730. The worst commute time if on Friday afternoon between 3&5. Everyone is heading out of town for the weekend. My overall rating is that this is not the worst commute by far, though I am unfamiliar with how the drive south on 494 would be.
