Dear all,
I am new to the forum and I need some advice and infor concerning about rent apartment and elementary school in the city of Rochester, MN. We are going to be working at the Mayo Clinic come in Oct. I was just wondering if there were any links to look at for renting apartments as well as the elementary school. We are coming from Australia and it is a really big matter. i have 2 kids to go with me. We are not US citizen. Can my kids allow to get into US education system? If anyone has any kind of information that will help a great deal. Any advise will be greatly appriciated! Thank you in advance.

Check with the HR department at Mayo, they have all kinds of contacts you need for a place to rent. Your children will be able to enroll in the schools. You will need to contact the school district once you find a place to live and get set up with the elementary school that is in that area.

There are lots of apartments and townhomes on rent.com for Rochester. Mayo should be able to advise you as well. The best elementary schools will be the choice schools - Lincoln, Washington. Rochester Public School District 535 My kids are at Franklin and I love it there. Also check out the newspaper. There are rentals in there and some have links to websites for the rentals.
