Norsk is on a distinguished road
You will absolutely LOVE Minnesota. It's "normal" no-- better than normal. The people are friendly, helpful, honest. Most towns are neat as a pin. We lived there for 25 years then 8 years in the Pacific Northwest. We've now moving back, this time to the southeast corner--had enough of coastal thinking. Those Scandinavians are more liberal than you think. I'll take taxes and regulations and snow anyday over what Oregon has to offer.
