Have you found a place to live yet? By coincidence, our family is planning to move to the UK in January 2009 for a two to three year assignment with his company. We plan to rent out our house while we're gone. It's a three bedroom in Edina, in a great neighborhood full of families with school aged children, and in walking distance to a park and a wonderful public elementary school. But it's also just a mile and a half away from another public school -- a french immersion elementary school! Yes, all the classes are conducted entirely in french. And it's part of the public school system, so no extra tuition. The school is called Normandale Elementary French Immersion School. And as you can imagine, there is no trouble finding playmates and babysitters who speak french. (One of our babysitters taught our little one to say "oui" before he learned "yes." So cute!) So if you haven't found a house, yet...
