Default Help Meeting People in Duluth

I am a single male in my early 20s and moved to Duluth for a new job about 3 months ago. I am outgoing and love to be with people, but haven't had much success finding friends. I joined a gym, have shown up at the beach for pick-up volleyball games, and other various activities, but have not had success finding a group of people to spend time with. All of the people I work with are older and have families. Does anyone have any suggestions of organizations, activities, volunteer work that I can get involved with as I am really tired of spending time alone.

Yes, you can join FUSE Duluth which is a young peoples business networking orginization through the duluth chamber. FUSE meets often and hosts social events.

Also, if you are into team sports, like hockey, you may want to join an adult hockey league. I ran into the same problem 6 years ago, now I am one of those married people with kids!

You could also try Lakeview Coveanant church, Hermantown community church, both of which have a huge ministry outreach to college age and young adults in the area single and married. I'm not sure your into church, but it is an option.

Volunteer with Mentor Duluth, Boys and Girls, Union Gospel Mission, or check out the Recreation Outdoor Program at UMD. Good Luck!
