If it's not too far of a drive for you, Dr. Fred Langendorf at Hennepin County Medical Center is excellent.

If your insurance covers it, Mayo Clinic is rated tops in neurology.

You might want to start with your insurance company and see who is in your network and then find out how they are rated (some companies rate their doctors by certification and other methods).

THEN, after you know which ones are covered, go here: Top Doctors 2008 | Health | Mpls.St.Paul Magazine + mspmag.com and check and see if any of the doctors in your network are listed.

This is a great idea. The Dr rankings come from surveys of nurses and drs so the results are very accurate. This is how we have found dr's as well. The Mayo clinic idea is also good.
