help with property search (Rochester, St. Cloud: for sale, real estate, house)

Does anyone know if it is even possible......

to find a hobby farm with about 40 minute drive of the Cities with at least 10 acres of land for under $200,000.00? Or St. Cloud or Rochester?

My brother has a place for sale in Sunrise Township that has 24.5 acres and 3 outpost buildings. He has 4 or 5 horses on it. The house is really cute and he just remodeled it all so it is really nicely done. He has it listed at $224,900 but might be willing to take less. Let me know if you want more info.

Good luck on your search, but I think you should expect to pay in the $350k range in the twin cities area for what you are looking for, probably cheaper elsewhere in the state. Just my opinion.

I live in Western Wisconsin and there are tons of nice properties with acreage within your price range. They would be on the outer fringe of your 40 minute distance limit, but it seems like you get a bit more bang for the buck over here in WI. I'd suggest meeting with an agent and setting some parameters for what you want, and then have the agent email you listings. Some properties we've been emailed have been dropped over $100,000 in price lately!
