Something to consider in MN that you don't have to think about in Texas, if you live say in Northfield, your husband works in Lakeville, you are in Rochester and your daughter is in school in Northfield and gets sick, getting her from school is going to be complicated. Then add a day like yesterday where we get an unexpected snowfall that is blowing around making visibility very poor. You are trying to get her from school but it takes you an extra hour because of road conditions and all of the sudden she is at school for that time because you can't get to her.
I understand the attraction of working in the Mayo system but there are many fantastic hospitals closer to Lakeville that you could consider as well. |

I thought about that too and really, the best thing is to have her in school where we work. BUT I work nights, so I will actually be at home while she's at school (either sleeping or it'll be my day off).
Can't wait to find out of all of this will actually pan out!! I hope so. I'm ready to move. |
