Contemporary Christian Church in South Metro?
Hi there:
Moved to Prior Lake from the Chicago area where we attended Willow Creek, a contemporary christian church which may have member churches up here as well. Have moved around to different churches since being here and still looking for just the right fit. Willing to branch out of Prior Lake into Savage, Burnsville, Lakeville, etc. if anyone is aware of a church, preferably non-denominational christian contemporary church with plenty of younger families, music, lively atmosphere, practical easy to understand lessons, etc. as I have teenagers and that's what they enjoyed most about their former church. Thanks!

We searched for something similar while living in Burnsville and our friends turned us to Evergreen Community Church :: One Church, Many Locations (which I notice is one of the "Ads by Google" on this page as I type, lol). The one we went to is in Bloomington however they have 5 locations throughout the metro and I'm assuming they're all similar...Pretty much exactly what you mention! I have a group of friends who attend a very contemporary Christian church called Hosanna. (9600 163rd St W, Lakeville, MN) I guess it is apparently a Lutheran church but it is more of the modern trendy style of church you seem to be referring to. It's probably worth checking out.

[River Valley Church] is very popular, but it might be a little further than you want. River Valley is located in Apple Valley / Rosemount on County Road 42.

Hi bhart - there is a new church in Prior Lake called Lifeprint Church. If you are looking for something non-traditional, Lifeprint has contemporary worship (the Sr Pastor and his wife lead worship and have their own christian band) and is a come as you are type church. From suits to bikers - it will have everything you are looking for, especially the message of the gospel!
