"Up North" cabins that accept pets -- recommenations?
Ooops, that subject was supposed to say "recommenDations!"
Anyway...looking for someplace 'north' (for our purposes, anything north of St. Cloud) for a long weekend rental at the end of October (for a birthday weekend). Someplace within 2 to 2.5 north of the cities.
We don't need anyplace big (no kids) so an efficiency or one-bedroom would do. Doesn't need to be fancy but it must be clean. And we need a queen bed (a double won't do, too cramped!).
The big kicker is we want to take our dogs, which limits us. Any recommendations?
We went to a great place in Ely this summer that we love--and they accept pets--but we don't want to haul it that far just for a weekend.
