Again, I recommend the Covered Bridge. If you read my post, you will notice that I mentioned a nice dining room. They have a full menu with seafood, steaks and excellent prime rib. Salad bar, fresh baked bread with all meals.
Yes, I did mention that they have a sports bar. It is part of the same building, but a separate room, and a completely different atmosphere.
Best of luck!

Are you saying that it is a nice enough restaurant to meet future in-laws at and have a nice meal? Is it quiet enough to have a good conversation there? If so; that may be the right place!
I'd understood in your previous post that it was a sports bar; and I definitely don't want that type of atmosphere for this particular meal. However, if it is a separate dining room, then I'd try it.
I did Google every town in between both cities and did not come up with a nice dining restaurant; most of the sites spoke only of the Covered Bridge Sports Bar.
Here is the one and only review of The Covered Bridge that I found:

Excellent food 4 Star Rating - Very good

At the Covered Bridge you will taste delicious food and be served your meal and beverages with a smile and speedy service. Their Taco Salad is the absolute best.

Yes, that's what I meant. The name of the establishment may be a bit deceptive - there are two distinctly different parts. As I mentioned previously, the 'sports bar' portion is a separate room, and is actually buffered from the dining room by the entrance hallway.
For a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, just ask to be seated in the main dining room. It's not "jacket and tie" formal, but certainly a nice place where you could enjoy a good meal, and sit and visit comfortably. We have had several family gatherings and celebratory dinners there and always been happy with the food as well as the service.
Hope you enjoy meeting the in-laws, whereever you decide on!

Well, as you could tell, I thought that it was only a sports bar, especially after reading that the Taco Salad was so good!
I think we will check it out! Thanks for the information! I'll report in after we try it!
