Default Nice & Normal people in Oakdale, MN

First we have the white guy on the corner who has threatened to poison numerous times. Then we have the woman who has ms, who seems to be the queen bee of them all. She nearly ran us down with her car, traveling at an excessive speed, barely missing us, then laughed hysterically. Then we have the two faced snobs next door who obviously thinks their **** doesn't stink, very stuck up. Then we have the the couple on the other side who the wife hates kids. She hangs on him like flys on ****, she probably escorts and holds his hand when he uses the bathroom. Get life woman, he's not going anywhere and nobody wants him, so relax and give the guy some space.
I really want to find the nice families...please help me find them.

Is this really appropriate? Nice families are everywhere and sounds like your neighbors aren't the only problem in the neighborhood.

Mellow aluminumpork, my fellow Minnesotan, this person probably just needs to vent. That's cool. The O.P.'s life in MN seems to have more excitement than the rest of us. Maybe I should move over there. Due to economic hardships I lost my apartment and recently had to move back in with my folks in Golden Valley. Now this place is boring. It's like one giant retirement home (no offense to old people).

To the O.P.: there are some normal people in Oakdale. It's close to Woodbury, isn't it? You could find some normal people in Woodbury, or you could write a book about the zany antics of your neighbors in Oakdale (that's what I would do, just for fun at least).

Sorry, you're probably right.

Also, his story sounds like an episode straight out of Desperate Housewives or something. Maybe he could sell them a script?

Yes, but you don't live in Oakdale.

yeah but I don't see why Oakdale should be any different than any other place in the metro area. Anywhere you move it is going to be a crapshoot whether you have good neigbors or not. Really the only way you can eliminate that is to move out in the middle of nowhere.
