Cool Good public kindergarten school in Eagan

Hello!

We just moved to Eagan (zip code 55122) and would appreciate if anyone could help us to find a good public school in and around Eagan for our son who will turn 6 in March.

Thanks in advance for your time and effort!!

The schools in Eagan are all good. Usually the various schools have boundries and if you live in that area, that is the school you attend. That also makes things easier for meeting other kids, having kids in the neighborhood to play with, etc. You are either part of the District 196 schools or the District 199 schools. 196 schools are the Rosemount-Eagan-Apple Valley District, the 199 Schools are the Mendota Heights-Eagan-West St. Paul schools and both districts are very good.

I know on the 196 website there is a spot where you can enter your street address and city and it will tell you which schools you would attend. You should do this soon because usually kindergarten registrations happen around Feb/March.

Thanks a lot for your candid and useful response. It would help me a lot if you could send the link for the district 196 and 199 schools or that of the schools itself. Thanks again!
