Question For the Frequent Flyer
We will now be flying once every 3 weeks and I have NEVER in my life used a credit card for No Hassle Miles etc.
Which card do you find is the best for accumulating frequent flyer miles? Or other programs? I have no clue how to do this.
Thanks!

I like our Wells Fargo card. It is tied to our credit card and our debit card so we earn points on both. You can then use it for many things other then just miles. We generally take the cash that you can get because we can usually get a couple tickets for the cash available vs using those points as 'miles'.
Most of the frequent flier programs for the various airlines work pretty much the same and you really probably want both those and a credit card. You can earn double the points that way--frequent flier miles and points on your cards. We have enough points between our FF miles and our points to buy 4 tickets right now, hoping for a 5th for our next trip and we don't fly that much any longer and just use our CC for gas, groceries, etc each month. We can then use our Northwest miles, CC points and all fly together. We have almost enough points on United for one ticket, I wish we could transfer those to Northwest.

Our Wells Fargo card doesn't work nearly as well as Capital One! I use both, and Capital One puts miles on for everything you purchase. Wells Fargo didn't put any on for travel, hotel, etc. Seems to just want you to go grocery shopping with it?

Really? Our card puts one mile for every dollar. It doesn't matter what it is for. We also get one mile for every $4 with our debit card purchases.
