My husband can't wait for snow in the Twin Cities. He bought a four-wheeler with a plow attachment last year with the excuse that he needed it to plow our driveway. Hmmmm....how many years could we have paid someone to plow for what he paid for his "toy"??

judlee - I "wish" that I had a four wheeler w/plow attachement. I'll bet there are plenty of neighbors he can help out when the REAL STORMS hit. Never will you have to worry about plowing. Heck he can use the four wheeler to run to get supplies if needed when the car can't get out.
Sure you can pay someone to do it, but you DONT know when they will get around to it. I used to have to rely on a service and we were so far down the list we had to wait long periods of time just to get out, time I didn't always have.
Don't bash him for making that choice unless it's the difference between eating and not eating. I love the cities but I'm three hours away from them. I spend my time with a shovel and then have to dig out once again after the County Plow truck goes by. If I had the "toy" you guys now have, I surely woundn't have to worry about that at all.
