Waconia, Minnesota
First snow in Waconia today. Started at 11A. Big flakes by 2P. Still above freezing (35 degrees) so nothing on the ground. Lots of leaves on trees yet because only one below freezing night (31) a week ago. Wind blowing hard today so leaves are coming down. Probably 40mph wind. I think the snow is the result of some ladies visiting our church (Waconia Moravian Church) from Costa Rica and wanted see snow before they go home next week. Day before yesterday was the first time I had a coat on since last spring. Wherever you are at when did your first snow arrive or when did you last see snow.
