Cool Disabled Tenant Rights

I am A Physically Disabled Tenant With a very Low Income Monthly Budget.I am Currently facing Eviction By reason Of My Seeking Legal Assistance For appeal petition about Illegal charges of Water,Trash in a apartment property. Also I'm Being Verbally Abused, harassed, stalked,Threatened by My current Manager because of My Disabilities.I have Battled this and Researched into My Rights on this over the past 3 months with legal aide etc...Though Have not won over the bullying power of a Big Business Corp. verses Me 1 resident with No financial resources and limited Physical mobility that To Risk Homelessness would be Life Threatening esspecially in Minnesota winter. My Landlord Management Is forcing Me to Agree upon Forfeiting All My Legal Defense Rights in order for Them to extend My Lease If I don't Sign that Illegal agreement I am threatened to physically Forced to Move out in 24 hrs.what should I do?I didn't do anything wrong to cause these actions.I've Been A Law abiding Loyal resident Here for 4 and 1/2 yrs With no problems until the new manager started 6 months ago. And Hates Me Just Because I'm on Public Assistance and have disabilities etc...

Whenever lawyers get involved in stuff like this, nobody wins except the lawyers. They get paid no matter what happens. Bottom line is you have to get to a point where you are comfortable with your lease. If you feel the terms are not right it might be better to move. The fees charged seem to be the root of the matter. Even small increases can be difficult to absorb on a fixed budget, so I am sorry to hear you are in a tough spot.

Try to keep a cool head and examine what your alternate situation would look like. Is is worth the effort to find another place to live and go through the hassles of moving to make a point on principles? Never take a stance that will force you to do something you are not prepared for.
