Default How are the schools in Stillwater?

We are moving to the St. Paul area and looking at homes and schools in Stillwater and Woodbury. Any thoughts on Stillwater schools versus Woodbury schools. Our children are elementary ages.

I like the Stillwater area better then Woodbury. It has more of a home town feel. I think the schools have a slight edge over Woodbury, the difference isn't much though.

We moved here last year and have been very happy with the school system. We have heard that Stillwater schools are very good and we have been very impressed by the care of the teachers and the organization at the schools.

You might want to take a look at Mahtomedi (slightly west of Stillwater), a small school system, but one of the best in the state. Homes available in the district range from homes on White Bear Lake, to small town feel in Mahtomedi, to acreage parcels in Grant and other areas nearby.

I agree, Mahtomedi schools are better then Stillwater but Stillwater schools are still good, Mahtomedi has the slight edge though.
