First real snowstorm of the century!!
At least that is how they are billing it on the news channels. It sounds like a good old fashioned snow storm lasting all weekend. They are predicting 18" in our area
! In our old town we had 9" of snow all last winter total so this will be FUN!!!!!

Wunderground is only predicting maybe 5' for us up north....WAAHHHH
My lovely wifey and I haven't even taken the sleds out this year. I put my plow on yesterday which means we probably won't even get a dusting.

I just hope we really get the snow this time! I love snow and my family who live out of state cannot believe it hasn't snowed here much. Cold, yes, snow ...no. Bring on the snow!! I'd go for two or three feet and be happy...as long as the power stays on I'm good to go.

I wish I were up there this weekend. I love snowstorms!!! DH is visiting his brother in Grand Rapids, MN and planning on snowmobiling for the weekend. I wonder if he'll get home to AL Sunday night as planned??? Enjoy the snow.

The south part of the state so far has gotten, the sleet and ice, and maybe about an inch of snow. They were saying the worst is to hit today and tomorrow, as the heavy band of snow comes through.

So far, much better than I was expecting. Some ice/sleet and a couple inches of snow. Got up early and it wasn't bad so we went to the gym and a local cafe for breakfast. It was snowing hard and roads were getting worse. Then it quit! At least for now!
