Seriously, the cultures are about identical expect WI is a little more libertarian. Meaning, more bars, more strip clubs , more fiscally conservative.

I could do without bars and strip clubs as I'm looking for a good place to raise my kids. I like that Minn stays on top of education rankings. Any good cities up there devoid of Hip-Hop culture?

Devoid of Hip-Hop culture I doubt it. Are you talking about the music and the dress? What else would be included in Hip-Hop culture? I would guess there is much less of it in MN than in the South.

Take out MPLS and St. Paul and you pretty much remove any of the Hip-Hop related culture. Generally speaking, the MN population is very homogeneous which is heavy on the Scandinavian ancestry. Not as lot of Hip-Hop in MN unless you consider Weird Al Yankovic as an artist.

The music, dress and the little wanna be thugs that think life is a rap video. Yes, we have people like that here. I guess their teachers didn't bother to tell them that what they see on MTV is not real. I'm done with it and want out.

I think you can find that in Rochester as well as the Twin Cities. Probably not as much though. I'm sure you'd find it to a certain degree in many other towns - but probably not so much the in-your-face you find in bigger cities.

Are you kidding me?
The Twin Cities are known for its music scene especially its Hip-Hop. Twin Cities have put Midwest Hip Hop on the map. Ask anyone who enjoys real hip hop music and they will tell you some of the best come from MPLS or St. Paul.
look at
Atmosphere
Heiruspecs
Brother Ali
Doomtree
P.O.S
St. Paul Slim
Eyedea & Abilities
You may not have ever heard of them, but they all have sold many records and are some of the best in the Midwest Hip Hop/Underground Hip Hop scene.

Wisconsin is a lot more "Up North" feeling to me. Wisconsin has a higher population. More bars in Wisconsin.
Watching the Vikings game on Sunday, there was a commercial for the Vikings where they interview fans who act like they are "Part of the team" and make the noise to help the Vikes. Well the fan interview was from Prescott, WI. Come on man! You cant have a Vikings Propaganda commercial with a Wisconsinite! Even if its a border town!

Nothing compared to Atlanta though. They'll never touch what they call "The Dirty South". Groups in Minn are probably pretty tame compared to ours. Doesn't matter though....I still want out.

For sure, Hotlanta is the home of Southern Hip Hop. But, that's what it is.=Southern Hip Hop. Its a totally different Genre than Midwest and Underground Hip Hop. Not saying I dont like it, I love Atlanta Hip Hop, but its like comparing apples and oranges.
Atlanta has some of my favs. - TI, Ludacris, Usher.

My point exactly if you read my post. The Twin Cities are known for Hip Hop. Not a lot of Hip Hop in Maple Grove, Andover, Forest Lake, Chanhassen etc. (Thank God).
