Default Iron Range?
I grew up and lived in Chisholm until I moved at the age of 21 and have been away for 18 years.
I plan to move back to the Iron Range (most likely Hibbing) this summer and was wondering what are some places to work that may be available?
How is the local economy...is the steel mill starting to be built?

Yes, Essar Steel is currently under construction and as far as I know the 6-7 other projects are slowly moving forward too. At least, no one has announced any plans to stop contruction or stop the permitting process on any project.

I do know that some of the taconite plants have slowed and even layed off some employees this past month.

My brother is employed by Hewlett Packard as a computer programmer.
Guess I learned a little from him but I don't have any "formal" training in computers. I am fortunate though to have a very good memory and learn quite quick. Why do you ask?
