Default INFO on New Auburn near High Island Lake area

I just bought some property in the area. I have never been there and am just curious about the lake and the area. Probably will be there this summer

Did you buy lake property there? If so, good choice. The area is far enough away from the Twin Cities that you will feel like you are getting away AND a much easier exodus on Friday then going up north, yet, close enough to be convenient. Glencoe, Gaylord and Norwood/Young America all have convenient shopping for groceries, etc. but you are about 30 minutes to Mankato and about an hour to the Twin Cities.

We have some friends that have a lakehome on Lake Washington not far from there and it is a nice lake. I don't know anything about your specific lake however.
