Default Questions about relocation to Rochester

From my understanding, Rochester is a pretty boring and dull city with not much to do but a great place to raise a family, great public schools, and low crime rate. Just wondering what do most stay at home moms' with young children do for entertainment (I have two little ones under the age of 4)? What are some of the activities for kids that age around there?

Also, what are some of the areas to look for real estate and what are commute like from those areas to downtown Rochester? Are there any nearby cities within a 30 mile or so radius of Rochester? Of course, there is the twin cities but it is probably a little far for everyday commute to downtown Rochester. Any suggestions/advice/ideas?

THank you so much in advance!!

I lived in Rochester for two years and did not like it. However, check www.postbulletin.com for information.

Hi there! My aunt lives in Rochester and loves it, although her children are adults. I have visited her a lot and it's a nice city. I could see how it would get dull to teens or people in their 20's who want to go out and club etc. but I think you'll so fine. You could look into a moms club, they have those and I think you'll do good and really like it
