NurmMN is on a distinguished road
You're right, Camalla, about the rural MN being slow and sleepy. I live quite aways from the city....love the quiet, peacefullness and privacy. That description should tell anyone that, yes, MN nice is correct....I've live here all my life and have found the niceness to be here and the friendliness - somewhere else. Part of that is, I'm sure, my fault because I've chosed to live in solitude......enjoying the quiet.....City people ARE different that us country folks...........................

And yet it can't be said enough: Minnesota nice is overrated. Give me blunt, let me know where you stand. Wisconsin doesn't have Wisconsin nice, Iowa doesn't have Iowa nice, where the sam hill did this Minnesota nice passive- aggressive, nice-to-your-face-behind-your-back-not-so-much come from? Most of my friends are Wisconsinites, lol.
