Default Looking for pretty area to move? Winona, RW, or ???

Okay I need your help, I have read posts on winona and red wing and I am so confused now...I spent last weekend in Winona and loved the city, but a big college town doesnt excite me much. I am looking to get into property management and maybe some real estate sales, or manage a motel. A single mom with a 14 yr old daughter to think about, we love scerny of winona, the river, the bluffs, loved teh overlook area...I know red wing is the twin to winona, but reading other posts it looks like alot of violent crimes happening in red wing, like what?

I am trying to find a good town to raise a teenager, she gets in her share of trouble in a small population of 4500 town, darn boys, she loves hispanic boys and hoping to find a town with not so many, sorry not to sound prejudice, just sick of the trouble they get her in, I know not all are bad...There is a small town near me now that is full of gangs of them and they come to see her. Anyway so looking for a safe town, not too big or small 10-40,000 people, I was changing my mind against winona when I thought of red wing, I like location to cities, rochester, people I know nearby in WI. SO what else do I have with the pretty scenery of rivers, and bluffs and still be able to shop at walmart and jcpennys? Wabasha, river city? I know theres several on a tour brochure they gave me in winona, that you can hit along 61, but I am at work, hardly working hehehehe and dont have list on me...I need to keep doing my homework I guess, any help you can give me would be great...

Try Stillwater. It is very similar to Red Wing with the river and the bluffs and the historic homes. It is about 15,000 people and doesn't really have a Hispanic population. The schools are very good and it is a nice community.
