How about a little Buffalo Ridge in western Minnesota. Taken in 2005.
Man, do I ever hate those stupid windmills. They are ruining landscapes everywhere! And for what? 1% of our energy needs?

End rant.

I've always thought that windmills were great. Of course I don't live underneath one, so haven't had to put up with the rumbling they put out.

I live just a few miles from the Mpls Garbage Burner, which has been running for 20 some years, and only in the past couple years did they finally get around to supplying steam or electrical power to the grids. It was insider politics - some back room deals were made, and some money moved around. I'll bet there are a few Lake Minnetonka manors paid for with that money.

Talk about a waste of energy.

It's in the 90's with water dripping off the buildings, and your photo can still run a shiver through my spine!
