Reason: I resized them, but it may take a little while to show up!

Love the thread idea, I hope to see lots of pictures up here soon. Just a thought though, try resizing the photos before uploading them. 2474x1855 is needlessly huge and will only make pages in this thread load like molasses.

We will try this again but keep in mind no copyrighted pictures, no posting pictures found on other websites, etc. or the thread will have to be removed.

Are you a mod for the MN forums? Would you be able to sticky it so it doesn't sink down super far?
(I resized the pics quite a bit. I should have done that in the first place, but I wasn't thinking cuz I had to go to work soon after.)
(Also, they are my pics. I just took them randomly. There are so many more pics I could take, just, if I could remember to bring my camera with me more often!)

I bought an inexpensive Aiptek IS-DV2 movie+still camera for $70 at Target and take it with me almost everywhere. That lets me take pictures of almost anything.
It's a 6 megapixel (really 3.3 with enhancements) camera with minimal configuration settings that uses a somewhat lossy JPEG format for pics (my 8+ year old Casio 3.3MP camera is FAR better in terms of image quality, JPEG options, has a raw TIFF mode, etc.), but for the price (and low replacement cost should I break or lose it) it was worth it, IMO.
Here are a couple of quick examples:

What's the best way of posting pics. I used photobucket in the past but the pictures are large. I like to do them as thumbnails. How do I do it.

You can create thumbnails like I did by using the Manage Attachments button on the bottom of the reply screen (in the Additional Options section). You may have to select something like Advanced Options before that shows up, though.
The Manage Attachments button lets you select and upload pics from your PC.
The thing I haven't figured out is how to re-use pictures that have already been uploaded and used in another message.
