Wow- interesting kid; smart little a**hole but comes off as a spoiled little punk- I'd say he has a Napoleon complex and really likes being the center of attention. If he were going to school in the city, he would probably get beaten up for inferring that his "civil rights" were being violated (for not being allowed to film during school hours) by a student that actually has had his civil rights violated. I'm not so sure the question is "what is this principal about" as much as "what's going on with students at Breckenridge (MN) high school" that causes a kid to have that much attitude.

I love the irony of those deer racks on the wall, camo sheets on the bed contrasted with the liberal message. Kid needs to understand that Education is not a right. Obviously he is smart and values education. He just needs to understand that he can't be a disruption without creating a situation where administration must do something.

He did force a reaction, which was obviously what he wanted to do. I would like to think the staff at the school could have figured out a more constructive way to refocus all that energy like give him a special project. Guessing he could bennifit greatly by doing a video documentary on what the troops are experiancing and the sacrifices they make so he can have all those rights he was speaking of. Maybe a student exchange would be good for him. Send him to another country and see how schools run elsewhere.

None of us were mature when that age. He has potential to be dynamic. One thing I see- is his teachers want to help him. He has to step up and accept this gift.

--I seen much of his rants- and one point- why I posted it- is that people should ask questions of authority. Question everything. Maybe this mode is unique to my age group. (I am 45) But when I was in school we were encouraged to ask questions and explore.

Sadly- the world we leave today's kids is bankrupt.

I got ahold of 2 young peoples work. A few of them are talented- so much so- they could turn the grid into a monster against you or I. The RIAA and its copy write lawsuits have these kids in the frame of mind that the adults don't allow them anything.

The US was broke in 1981. Today we are even more broke.

It is this generation that- we have to have hope in. Based what we left them- god help us.

I'm convinced that this punk tried to video tape the teacher yelling at another student. He should have given up his watch and it would have been case closed! Today's kids are more devious and savvy when it comes to the law and how to manipulate people. But this kid has no idea what he's talking about.
