Question Working In ALbertville

My husband and I may be relocating to Minnesota for work. If this is going to happen, it will within the next 6 months. My job will be in Albertville and so, I would like to live as close as possible. What is a good area? We plan on renting a house and, due to me being a dog trainer, we do have 4 large dogs. Is it even possible to find a house to rent that will allow that? The move and the job are the least of my worries. Finding the right area and a happy home for my family and I are making me extremely anxious.
Any advice would be helpful and you can e-mail me at gr8daned@yahoo.com

Thanks!
Donna - in MI

I lived in albertville from when it was once a small farming community of 800 people to the bedroom suburban community it is now wiht around 7,000 people. It's a great area.. The school district is highly regarded for its education and athletics. Most of the commercial buildings and homes were built in the 1990s, so its a very "new" community. The city of albertville borders St. michael, and often times they are just consiered St.Michael-Albertville, not two different cities.

St. Michael is larger, with nearly 20,000 people and much more commercial buildings...The homes are nicer there too, but there are very nice homes in Atown as well....

The housing bust has many once $250,000 homes that are going for about 180,000 now...

I would say communities like Otsego, Rogers, St. Michael, Albertville, Monticello are all very close and don't have too much traffic.

Just wondering where you will be doing Dog Training? I would suggest since you have dogs Monticello, Otsego, Rogers, Elk River, Maple Lake(Sort of far away)

St. Michael is a nice town. It has a downtown area and a hometown feel. Since the area is fairly newly developed there is a good chance you could probably find a home with some acreage that will allow dogs.
