Mayor of Effie still hasn't made the news???
Wondering if anyone has heard anything about the sex scandall with the Effie, MN mayor? Supposedly he is going to court being charged with rape or assault and contributing to minors? Why isn't this being covered? I haven't heard anything about it! If it were my teenage daughter I would make sure everyone heard my side of the story!  |

because nobody cares about Effie, MN.
I have never heard of it.
The mayor is probably the sherrif, postmaster, and fireman. He's probably volunteer too. Who cares. It's a shame, but it's not like he is a giant public figure doing major things to help his city.

Effie is 4.0 quare miles in northern MN and has a population of 91 people.
I had more people try out for my freshmen baseball team in high school.

Ha, there were more people at my neighborhood block party and I don't even think we had 50% attendance. |

Seriously though, it is a shame to hear, but the reason we havn't heard of it is because the media doesn't bother covering stories that aren't newsworthy. |
