Hello,

Does anyone here deal with migraines? Additionally migraines that are caused by changes in the weather?
If so, are there any special clinics or hospitals in the St. Paul area are dedicated to migraine relief?
I ask because my wife has fairly severe migraines and unfortunatly alot of them are caused by weather change.

Thank you for any and all responses!!!
We hope to be living there soon!!!

I had this problem for years and on a whim tried claritin. All better. Guess it was allergies.

Quite a few good Neurologists who specialize in migraines in Edina. I'd google it. Good luck to you and your wife~

My wife got severe migraines when we moved to Minnesota several years back and now her sister moved to Canda and is getting the same thing. Seasonal migraines have something to do with pressure chanegs it seemed to me. Once an actual weather pattern was established for the season, the migraines seemed to settle down too.

Most of the probelms are due to Barometric Changes.

I get migraines, but not the type your mom or aunt probably got. Mine are soo gawd awful that suicide is actually contemplated at the time of insanity. I typically get them at least once a year, and I actually had an episode a week ago. First, my periphrial vision goes, then I got spots in my vision, then my left hand goes numb. Then the right hand. then my lips, and face. then the headache comes and it's there, right in the back of my head, right behind my right eye. Then, i cannot smell anything without violent pains, and then I cant even be in a dark room without wanting to rip my head off. IF, and ONLY IF I get to the immatrex in time, it cools off after about 2 hours. If i dont get to iit right away, then it's useless because I inevitably vomit. it then takes nearly 24 hours for the pain to go away, with vomitting stopping after about 5 hours.

I have gone to the Urgent Care for 3 shots in the arm and butt on 3 different occasions now.

I fear these things. I have gotten the them in April, April, December, June. So I'm not too sure if weather is an impact
