They better quit their " pushing".
I just got an e-mail update from the St Cloud Times that said Delta is ending its flights from St Cloud to MPLS effective Dec 31.
They will try to find positions for its 12 employees in a different city.
It was stated the flights were flying at only 33% capacity in 09 and yet St Cloud people kept saying more airlines should should offer flights out of St Cloud.
Yeah,right ! (sarc)

Like I said, it has slowed down due to the economic times. When I was a Community Development major @ SCSU I worked closely with the neighborhoods and the City of St. Cloud. In fact, one of the pushes was during the summit where the city won the most livable city in the world award. This was only a few years ago...
Of course people would love to see more flights come to their city, but not everyone has the extra money to fly places right now.

Well, maybe the " most liveable city in the world" (sarc) doesn't have any commercial flights to or from it, but at least they got Northstar.
Ooooops, Northstar stops at Big Lake ( 35 miles away)
Does Greyhound still have a bus station in St Cloud?

Greyhound brings back bad memories But yes, we still have the Greyhound station.
Delta flights out of St Cloud were down to 33% capacity. Who the heck needs to fly when we can drive to downtown Mpls in an hour. But it is a very nice airport

Easier ( amd less traffic) to drive to St Cloud airport instead of MPLS airport.
( and the extra $$$$$$ to fly out of St Cloud is nearly eaten up by parking fees at MSP airport )
