Default St Cloud without commercial Service
I live in Chicago but all of my family is in the St Cloud area. ExpressJet has shown interest in offering flights from STC to Chicago O'Hare. Not only would this be good for me but also the area. Having a flights direct to Chicago would allow for easier connections to the rest of the US and the world with O'Hare being such an important global hub. St Cloud Regional was and is being under utilized by Northwest/Delta because of it's proximity to MSP. I would encourage people in the area to contact ExpressJet and show them that there is potential in the market. St Cloud deserves great commercial airline service and this could just be the start.

Why would ExpressJet (operating as Continental Express) run an ORD-STC route? They don't have a hub or focus city at ORD. If anyone would start that route, it'd be United Express or American Eagle.

It was rumored a few years back that a startup airline wanted to run Dornier 328s on GPZ(Grand Rapids, MN)-STC-ORD route, but that fell through.
