Default This is what I love about Rosemount Schools!

It is band concert week. Band is HUGE here. There were 10 separate concerts at the one middle school alone. We got to our twins' concert as the band before them was finishing up their last song and the principal was standing by the door just bouncing. When the kids finished playing she said "oh I just LOVE this part of my job, being able to listen to these kids". She was THRILLED to death to be there. This was for 6th grade band.

High school concert last night--there are 6 bands playing through out the night. Each of the 3 band directors conducts 2 of the bands. After their bands were done playing they handed out awards and talked about the year with the kids. They all said how great the kids were, etc., etc. but the best thing is they MEAN it. One of the directors, all of whom are men, was on the verge of tears because he loved working with the kids so much and was really going to miss them.

The administration here is suburb. The assistant principal conducted a song with the top band. The principal is the first one in the audience to stand up and clap for everyone. We are SO lucky to be able to have our kids in this district!
