Where a town has a "Polar Plunge"? I know they are around, my sisters college did it in winter, and I know they have showed them on the News before. I was thinking the other day, "I've lived in Minnesota my whole life(so far) and never have jumped in a lake in the middle of winter." The time I was 5 and fell half-way through a ice-fishing hole doesn't count.
So does anyone know where they do it around the Plymouth area? Anywhere west of the cities?
Thanks!

My answer is probably a little too west, but Spicer, MN has the Polar Plunge in Green Lake every year.

Go to Google advanced search. In "all these words" put in "minnesota" "Upcoming". In "exact wording" put in "polar plunge". You'll get lots of them. I guess you can use any search you want to of course. I just used Google.

Rochester does one every year also. I think it's a benefit put on by the sheriffs dept.
